Are all Caissa coaches FIDE certified or titled?

Yes — every coach on the Caissa platform holds a FIDE title (Grandmaster, International Master, or FIDE Master) or an official FIDE rating. All coaching credentials are verified against the FIDE database before any coach can begin teaching.

Which chess coaches are best for beginners and young children?

Caissa has 150+ certified coaches specialised in beginner chess and children's coaching. Filter by the 'Beginner' or 'Foundation' specialisation tags to find patient, youth-focused coaches. You can also filter by language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, English) to find a coach your child feels comfortable with.

Can I get a chess coach who speaks Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu?

Yes. Caissa coaches teach in 8+ languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, and more. Use the Language filter on this page to find a coach who speaks your preferred language.

What is the difference between a Grandmaster (GM) and a FIDE-rated coach?

A Grandmaster (GM) has achieved the highest title in chess with a FIDE rating above 2500. An International Master (IM) holds a 2400+ rating, and a FIDE Master (FM) is 2300+. FIDE-rated coaches have an official FIDE rating and national-level competitive experience. All tiers produce excellent results — the best match depends on your goals and current rating.

How does a 1-on-1 chess coaching session with Caissa work?

Each programme begins with a 45-minute diagnostic assessment game to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses. Your coach then creates a personalised training roadmap and conducts live, interactive lessons on a digital chessboard. Between sessions you practise with Caissa's AI app, and your coach reviews your game history to adjust the plan.

Is Caissa's chess coaching only for India, or is it available worldwide?

Caissa School of Chess accepts students from 25+ countries including the USA, UK, UAE, Australia, and Canada. All classes are conducted online, so geography is never a barrier. Country-specific pages with local pricing are available for most regions.
